Wait it out about 2 minutes, and tell me if it doesn't connect. Some firewalls take a long time to allow the ident request to pass. Mine, for instance, takes anywhere from 30 secondsm to 2 minutes to connect to my server. Unless i forward 113, and 6667-7000, it will hang.
