Forums Connection Issues Info on the SSL connections and DCC method

Hi

I'm using mIRC 7.47 with Windows 7 SP1 64 bit.

How do I check whether an IRC server accepts an SSL connection?

If I were using the DCC method to send and receive files from a channel, the SSL protocol is still applied if I were to establish an SSL connection with the IRC server?
