Hello dear Khaled,

I wanted to suggest you a feature that i think will greatly benefit the hardcore users of mIRC and will enhance mIRC server command and mIRC in general.

For a long time i'm using Proxy's for connecting some EFnet like networks to chat over there and i'm always have to do a annoying procedure (i bet i'm not the only one) for connecting to some server using Proxy.

I need to connect my normal networks, then i'm setting the proxy for the current network to BOTH (it was NONE) so i could connect to the next network, then i'm entering again to the options to set it back to None..
it's annoying because just 2 of the 6 networks i'm in i'm using a proxy for.

it will be nice if we could do
/Server -m irc.efnet.org 6667 -i Nick Nick` Some@email.com Name -j #channel -p[p|s4|s5]f[b|s|d] proxy-or-sock-ip port

Ofcourse the [] is just for presentation
-p = for protocol
  • p = proxy = default
  • s4 = socket4
  • s5 = socket5

f = for firewall support
  • b = both = default
  • s = server
  • d = dcc

Thanks and waiting for response.
