OP HorseC Fjord artisan H Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 342 New York, USA	K, Just an FYI for you.. my problem turned out to be the pctools firewall, it defaults to 'stelth' mode which blocks ident requests. So each time I upgade mIRC or any other software that requires ident ok, then i have to update that programs action in pctools firewall. Though you might want to add this to your list of possible resolutions to ident problems. as ever, HorseC
