I'm all for having the wildcard syntax actually documented in the help file, if that's all you're really suggesting, but I don't see how the current behaviour should be considered a bug.
But all the wildcard caracters are documented under /help on text.
The & wildcard match a word and this is working correctly, if you stick a '&' to a word, it should match a plain '&', nothing else.
That's the bug, when you use a & at the end of a word, it's not matching a '&'
