I disagree about forcing mirc to restart with the old cmdline parameter when -r is used, it could break script, but a new parameter (-r1 keep the old cmdline, -r0 doesn't, default to -r0) would be useful.
Btw, If you want to restart with another cmdline parameter, don't use -r and just /run $mircexe -cmdline_here before /exit'ing
