Possible new user here. Downloaded latest release from this site and installed. Did not buy because I want to see how this works for me first.
Tried to connect several times and each time I get this message:
Closing Link: 0.0.0.0 (Infected with Pornspam. Please run a virus scan on your computer asap. [S-C5-768033] (2009/08/7 14.23))
It also mentions that my nickname is already in use, that I am not welcome on this network, and that I've been Autokilled.

I have no idea what this means. I run a full anti-virus scan with Avira AntiVir Personal at least weekly and a full malware scan with MalwareBytes every two weeks or so. I ran both after getting this message and according to them my machine is clean.
Does my nick need to be unique? Do I need to add 12 numbers after it or something to make sure that it is unique? How can mIRC say I'm infected if AntiVir and MalwareBytes say I'm not?
Glad I didn't pop with 20 bucks before finding this out.
