In the
Latest News section (4th paragraph) of the mIRC website, there is a little blub that states "Also a command line option has been created that makes mIRC avoid all use of the registry.", which is ideal for running mIRC from a portable device. However despite my best search efforts, I cannot find further information and/or instructions (command, syntax etc.) Any enlightenment will be much appreciated.
