I have my script editor set to open on the desktop. If the task bar is on the top or left side of the screen, then every time I open the script editor, it has moved to the left/top (depending upon placement) by the width/height of the task bar. Repeated opening and closing of the editor will eventually get you to the point where it opens up underneath the task bar. This is annoying if the task bar is at the top, as you will then be unable to move the editor window.
This only seems to happen when the task bar is set always on top, and not set to auto-hide.
Note that the quick launch and other toolbars of that type do this too if you drag them off of the task bar. Every time I said "task bar" in the above, it can be replaced with "quick launch".
Edit: oh, this is on mIRC 6.2 with Windows XP/SP2, using the Windows Classic theme. I haven't tried other styles.
