yeah, that's one way of doing it, and the other way would be to $remove(value,-) which is the same as taking the $abs (absolute value) of it too
there's all kinds of ways. The thing I ran into was that the negative number wasnt ALWAYS the opposite of the value.... I cant explain it all really.
