can connect to, that doesn't mean the people who run DALnet are idiots, nor does it make DALnet a *bleep* network.

Whenever I'm having trouble with the main server pool, I usually manage to connect fine to mesra.dal.net or jade.dal.net. A lot of people find arcor and powertech good servers too, and they are both located within Europe.
