I never said you were an idiot, i said i thought it was a stupid idea.
And im not trying to "FORCE" people to accept what i find convenient, I would expect programs to follow what is the setout meanings of items such as [_][][X] rather than go and change what each one is, why not just use [.] its not that hard to add one up there, just uncommon.
I think a logical reason is becuase thats what the box is for closing (an arguement that some programs dont do it, isnt a good one, following someone else behavour isnt justification to do it also)
