$ticks addition; it would be great if we could specify wheter or not we want to use the Performance Counter.
In mIRC code, I saw that if the call to GetTickCount fail, Khaled calls QueryPerformanceCounter. So this would probably be only a matter of seconds to add this feature to mIRC.
Anyway, that would be a really nice feature
