"Beep on" options do not take effect until mIRC is restarted.

(Tested after deleting mirc.ini.)

1. Tools -> Options -> Sounds

2. Check "Channel message" and click "OK"

3. Channel messages are not causings beeps to occur.

4. Restart mIRC.

5. Channel beeps now occur.

6. Uncheck "Channel message" and click "OK"

7. Channel beeps are still occuring.

8. Restart mIRC.

9. Channel beeps have stopped.
