problem is this is not an mIRC issue. The mIRC FAQ or help file will not describe this event in any way or form. You must consult the readme that comes with the IRC server source or binaries.
Your friend needs to work on his knowledge before he tries to run a server, we don't need any more of this appearing on the boards.
