though most servers only allow for 2 connections from the same IP.
If you find that this is the case, go to the help channel, usually #help, and speak to an IRCop about extending your access. If you've been on the network for a while, and there haven't been any problems, most network ops/administrators will arrange for extended access. Please note that it could be anywhere from a few seconds to a couple of days for extended access to get approved & up.
