You should make sure that your password is being typed in correctly. Most IRC networks with nickname registration use a case sensitive password. If you still have trouble, try using /ns sendpass <your_nick>
If that command isn't available, review the nickserv help information with /ns help and find the proper command...presuming there is one. If you still are having trouble, then try joining the networks help channel, usually #help and ask for assistance.
