Usually, if you install mIRC, then install a bot's script into the mIRC folder, then run mIRC, you are fine.
If that doesn't work, you may have the /load the scripts. Check through the documentation of the bot to see how to properly install it. You might also consider checking with whoever wrote the bot.
Standard /load command is:
/load -rs path\filename.mrc
