Forums Connection Issues "waiting for aknowledgement"

Got it! I had this problem, so others will too. So here's the solution :

Download SocksCap, in the socks-settings put your localhost:1080 info (from your tunneling soft), and run mIRC through Sockscap... everything A-OK!
