There are a few problems with /var:

Code:
//var % $+ x = 1 | echo -a %x


%x is set to = 1 when it should be set to 1

Code:
//var $+(%,x) = 1 | echo -a %x


This gives an error.

For both of the above, if you use //set -u instead of var they work fine.

Sorry if this has been reported before, but the search engine gives far too many results for /var, var, /set, set, etc.
