No, you didn't say notepad, what I am saying is that by locking the script editor it makes it harder to edit scripts unless you already use an external application to edit scripts (Eg. mEditor), and new users don't seem to know that scripts can be edited in anything but mIRC, so it's not a very good idea to lock the script editor, which is why i'd rather not share how it's done.

Users probably work out it's Alt+R the same way I did, by clicking on "Tools" and seeing "Alt+R" next to "Scripts Editor"
