OP jcRAM6 Self-satisified door J Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 4	My question is how to make the $url identifier work with Google Chrome? when I type //say $url it should return the page I'm on. It worked when I was using FireFox, but I want to know how I can make it work with Google Chrome, if there is a way. Thanks.

OP jcRAM6 Self-satisified door J Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 4	It has been my default browser for a while, but the $url identifier still doesn't work. You should try it and see. Maybe mIRC just needs that update for chrome.

I try that identifier while having the IE 8 open (I hardly use IE, just letting it simmer on its own when it's needed), and I just realize it doesn't return the browser URL. I don't have Google Chrome installed, so I don't know. However, the $url gets along well with the firefox browser.

Wims Hoopy frood W Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 4,150 France	Well $url is supposed to work in 6.35, but the beta seems to have a problem with dde ($url depend on dde), so the 6.35 may have a problem as well, I remember someone reporting a bug, but about /url. I don't have Chrome and have no intention of installing it, so I can't test it to see. However, if it's because Chrome doesn't respond correctly with DDE, then it's a Chrome problem and not a mIRC problem. Invision Support #Invision on irc.irchighway.net
