what server does mirc use for /dns resolving ?

i ment: does mirc connects to some server/company that gives it DNS results or Windows OS does it by itself ?

everyone that are connected to internet has a IP and a host, all mirc do is show you the numbers or the host on a /whois .. /dns only show your IP if you dont have any script loaded that are able to show more info.. and your mirc set your IP every time you connect to internet..

did a quick packetsniff and mirc uses the DNS servers specified on your PC to /dns
