Forums mIRC Help can't minimize in windows xp

I have the options set in mIRC to minimize to the tray but each time I minimize mIRC it goes to the tray for 2 seconds and then disappears completely. How can I fix this problem?

check out if you have in the taskbar options: hide passive icons (not sure if like that in english) so right mouse clic from the bar--->properties--->take of "tick" from : hide passive icons

that´s what first came up to my mind....
