When I use did -g or did -v or did -h, it causes the dialog to flicker. Does anyone know how to fix this?

There's no need to post the same question in different parts of the forum. Be patient your question will be answered when someone here can. This causes confusion amongst other members of this forum.

Now from the help file:

-v make id visible
-h hide id
-g set a new icon/bmp to an icon control
/did -g name id [n] filename

Is there something in your script that may be constantly looping the hide/visible parameters? Or constantly trying to set a new image? This may be what's causing the flickering...but don't etch my words in stone for i have been known to be wrong...

No, I'm manually typing it out. And I noticed it with -g ... so I switched to -h and -v (already having the icons there, but making one invisible and making the other visilbe) and it does the exact same thing.

Here, under Win98, the icon control flickers whenever I use -v or -g, but I think this is the normal behavior.

If you want, you can use MDX.dll to embed a picture @window inside a button control and fill it with images using /drawpic.
