Forums mIRC Help LIst of Channel Problem

When I try to get a list of channels on irc, i get a message that says "List output too large, truncated" I only see like 10 channels. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

If you're looking for a specific type of channel, let's say sport, type /list *sport* - that will bring up a list of all channels with the word sport in the channel name. If you just type /list, you'll either be on for ever, or get disconnected, depending on the size of the network.

also if you get a message stating that the server load is too heavy you will not get a list until later on or you change servers on that network as well
