Instead of having the command line -s<server:port> actually change the connecting server, can it please be converted to a temporary change only?

Its frustrating having to keep changing my servers if I only wish to test a once of connection to a server (I could use /server -m, but I'm not fond of having two connections open within the one instance of mIRC).

I think this has to do with moving the last successful server to the top of the list.

Try unchecking this option.

Well. At least I won lunch.

It is unchecked. It seems that mIRC has a habit of making the last server used the default one, whether it was sucsessful or not.
