ok! i was looking through the dll's linked with the mirc process (which is NOT against the license agreement) and came across winmm.dll. i had no idea what it was, so i looked into it, and it turns out it is the dll for Minesweeper. why the heck does mirc load minesweeper?!

DLL File: winmm or winmm.dll
DLL Name: Windows Multimedia API
Description: The Windows Multimedia API contains low-level audio and joystick functions
System DLL: Yes

Its not specifically for minesweeper, but most likely minesweeper uses it.

*psst* don't listen to them.
mIRC adds extended features to Minesweeper via /xyzzy command.
Search google for MineSweeper+XYZZY and you'll see what I mean!
