The channel central's topic form is quite small, I doubt I'm not the only one with that opinion.
How about making it a multiline instead of a singleline? It bugs me to scroll to both the sides, before getting where I want to be - Call me lazy.

Further more, on Quakenet they have some new channel modes available - and has been there for quite some time. Figured you guys updated with a checkbox or something, so the new channel modes appears in the channel central.

If they are not standard to every and any IRC network, they arent going to be added tot he mode dialog--sorry.

The reason that there arn't more modes is because they arn't standard to every IRCd. Channel central operation has been a hot debate topic recently. I'd like to see the channel central become physically larger to accomodate your first suggestion to some degree, re: the room topic, though at the end of the day you can only make it so big and then after that it becomes unattractive and unweildy.

Well I agree, you can't make it too big, but even 2 lines with a scrollbar is much better. It just plain sucks when you want to edit something that is right in the middle of the topic, if you could use a scrollbar it would be easy. I loved the old topic editbox.

A better option for the channel modes is to leave the current modes alone, and have an editbox underneath to type in your own modes.

I could see this as beneficial, too. It's hard at times to look through the edit line for the topic when it is all one line. maybe make it two lines standard, and add an option elsewhere in mIRC for people who want to make more than just two lines.

Yeah, I remember previous versions like 5.7 had multi line topics
