Hello,

I have my room set up pretty securely, but the only way people keep seeming to take my chatroom by, is when the room moofs, they use a program to automatically re-make it. My room is on the MSN servers, and this is becoming a problem. Obviously they're beating me to it, because I have to re-make manually. Is there anyway to protect against this?

Thanks,
Spook

If your room is constantly being interfered with in that way then you should report the issue to an oper.

the msn chat servers usually reset/reboot every 2-3 weeks, so all the rooms on it "disconnect", and are free to remade by anyone since channel registration is not allowed.
if that bothers you i suggest you find another network that supports channl registration.

I'm asuming that reply is for Spook....

Yeah it must be, my network only reboots once every 6 months or so when the software is upgraded.
