Already doing it in fact my pm window is over a year old, tho they all cannot see what you are saying to someone else or vice versa you can still have a whole room if you wanted in my PM Box. Here is a screen shot.
You seem to lack an obvious understanding of IRC... Multi-user communication occurs naturally in channels as mentioned by Collective. This is the very basis of the protocol. Implementing this by nick targetted privmsgs looks like a serious waste of scripting time.

well i rarely go to IRC channels so yes my lack of understanding IRC is small. But yet there has been more than one post about multiple people in one pm box I know i made a post here about 2 or 3 years ago about it. Might be a waste of time for someone to code one in some peoples eyes but some people do want a feature like this.
mIRC already includes a feature called the Single Message Window which appears to do more or less the same thing as your the window in your screenshot.
really i never knew mirc had a names list in the pm box But of course I am using the mirc 6.31.0.0. If it is in this version of mirc where in mirc settings do i find it ?

It doesn't have a nick list, but it does place all private messages in a single window and allow you to reply to them from that window.
