when some-one joins a room or leaves, not only does it come up in that room, but also on the status list..not sure how to stop this happening. i mean anyone not just ppl on my notify list.. have i got a wrong setting ? thanks
It's a script automatically doing a /whois on users when they join your channel, mIRC does not do this itself. Type /remote off and it will stop. Find the setting in whatever script you're using to disable it.
