Forums Connection Issues why am I not connecting

I keep trying to connect and get a timed out message over multiple tries and different EFNets. What is missing. should something be filled out differently. Local host and IP address are blank. In the place where the check boxes are always get local host is checked. Get IP address is checked but is in light print and inaccessible. I am using WI FI

* Try other networks... see if it's an Efnet issue or your own problem. If it's an Efnet issue, just keep trying until you find one that works. If it's you, then continue down this list...
* Check to make sure your router/firewall has the correct ports forwarded (open).
* Check your wireless signal... poor signals can cause problems.

Try this EFNet server:

/server irc.inter.net.il

This one of thier best servers!!!! (amazing speed, and you can get the channels list without the usual problems on thier other servers).
