OP boxbred Pikka bird B Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 18	Today as I was on mIRC, I noticed when my name/user name was typed, I didnt hear a beep. Ever since I have had mirc this has worked. I looked in the options under highlight and "beep" is still on as it should be. It is highlighting what is typed, Im just not getting the bep as I usually do. Any help would be greatful. Thanks

Armada Fjord artisan A Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 540	Try this command /beep You should hear a rapid 4 beep i think its 4, if not, is your sound card being used? If so you might have a single channel card. Only one sound at a time. So say if winamp is on, you wont hear other things. Try updating Windows Media player, mirc uses that for sounds. also try updating your drivers
