1: does anyone know any free vb compilers other than envelop and the original one you get with windows?
2: does anyone know where there are any decent c++ tutorials on buttons, edit boxes, listboxes etc?

You can't compile a VB program on a PC that doesn't have VB installed.
So itz useless for you to search, and if you have VB installed then you automatically have compiler.
i have vb installed but it's missing one file, this file stops me moving buttons around on the vb editor.
the only way i can move them is to make it big then small again, it also doesn't let me compile exe's.
reinstall or get a better vb version?
