If I log on to mirc 6.16 i can send and get fine
If I log on to mirc 6.12 with panzer fileserver 2.4 I can send but when I try to get is says 'DCC Get of "filename" from "name" incomplete (unable to connect)'
Make sure the port settings and
local info are the same as 6.16
ports in 6.12
alt+o > dcc > options > 'DCC Ports' on the left
ports in 6.16
alt+o > connect > options > advanced button
alt+o > connect > localinfo
'on connect always get' > select 'ip address'
'lookup method' > select 'server'
click OK
while connected to a server type /localinfo -u
i checked all the ports.. they are the same when i log into mirc or mirc with panzer...
Is your firewall treating the programs differently? NIS at least lists each copy of mirc with its own rules.
im on the DMZ... turned the xp firewall off... still when i run some programs for the first time it asks me if I would like to unblock it... and i cant remember if it asked when i started panzer for the first time.. But I shouldnt have any type of wall holding me back...
DCC Get of "filename" from "name" incomplete (unable to connect)'
This has nothing to do with you. it is 100% the fault of the sender.

Unless you're blocking that type of file, or you don't have enough free disk space to save it.
Neither of those produce that error message.
