Hi,
I got some problem with mIRC and/or firewall. I can GET file via DCC but can't SEND or etablish CHAT session. My machine is WinXP (windows firewall is off), and I'm connecting through gateway which is Linux machine. Some ports are forwarded to my Winows machine and property ports are set in mIRC so it should work.
Any ideas?

Check the detailed post locked at the top of this forum.

The probelm is that your client has to be able to receive an incoming connection in order for you to initiate a DCC SEND or CHAT. If your client's IP address is not the address needed to connect to you, or you are running a firewall that blocks incoming connections then you will have this problem.
