Hi, I'm sorry if this post sounds crazy, but I am extremly new to irc and today is the first day I ran across it. I am looking for a chat to put on my website and I've seen a lot with mirc, jirc, and some others that I don't know smile I don't know anything about it so here are some of my questions. 1) Does this run off of my site? I mean will it take up resources and bandwidth? 2) I like the way that ircq looks, if I use irc will I be able to pick which chats my users can go into or at the least will I be able to pick the first chat they go into? and lastly, is icq hard to use? My site is for Christian teens and I have lots that are 13 and up and it takes a while for them to figure stuff out, and me as well smile So I'm just asking. Thank you in advance for your answers ! grin

jirc - no clue what it is...sorry. bu i know of a pjirc that will run off your site. it uses if any, minimal bandwidth just because its a java applet thats connecting to a chat server. pjirc is alway very easy to use

PJIRC's website is http://pjirc.com/. Note that this applet acts like a client, and you still need to find a friendly IRC server that will host your channel.
