Im using mIRC 6.02 and Windows XP SP1 and I can receive files by DCC but i cant send...Why?

Squall check your connections properties ...XP has a firewall built into the OS i had the same problem ...all i did was disable it an then i could send DCC ...at the time it took me a week to figure it out. so now im running Zone Alarm instead of this crappy XP thing ...hope this helps

Thank u for ur replay but unfortunately this didnt work and i dont know why...in the meantime i reinstalled Win 98SE and i have the same problem...very strange...:)

under options make sure u enabled ur dcc server and are set to listen on port 59 for sends and chats ...... if that doesnt work and ur firewall is still disabled heck i dunno what to tell ya ....... but um make certain the person ur sending to also isnt blocking u .... and tryin more than one person might be a suggestion if u havnt already

I did what u told me...and NO:)) im guessing that undernet servers refuse to take files from my internet provider; i will take my computer and connect it to another ip...maybe then it will works...anyway thx again
