OP squall26 Self-satisified door S Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 3	Im using mIRC 6.02 and Windows XP SP1 and I can receive files by DCC but i cant send...Why?

The_Game Hoopy frood T Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 1,237 Michigan, USA	Squall check your connections properties ...XP has a firewall built into the OS i had the same problem ...all i did was disable it an then i could send DCC ...at the time it took me a week to figure it out. so now im running Zone Alarm instead of this crappy XP thing ...hope this helps

_D3m0n_ Hoopy frood _ Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 1,527 Florida,USA	under options make sure u enabled ur dcc server and are set to listen on port 59 for sends and chats ...... if that doesnt work and ur firewall is still disabled heck i dunno what to tell ya ....... but um make certain the person ur sending to also isnt blocking u .... and tryin more than one person might be a suggestion if u havnt already D3m0nnet.com
