Some DLLs need to know the exact mIRC version into which they are loaded. Previously, the LOADINFO structure's mVersion field was sufficient for this purpose. However, now that mIRC has effectively switched from private to public betas, such DLLs now also need to take into account the beta number, if any. Not doing so may lead to problems, as exemplified by
this thread.
Therefore, I would like to request that the LOADINFO structure be extended with a new field which contains mIRC's beta number (or zero).
