hi again,

I searched in the forums here but couldn't find a thread about this pblm: several times my downloads from a xdcc server fail coz i went under their min speed limit while i was downloading something else, or bcoz the server disconnected for a moment or a while, and reconnected.

And as a solution to save a lot of time, I was wondering if it could be possible to set an option so that when a download from a xdcc server fails, then a trigger is automaticcaly typed in the matching chan of this server?

What could be even more great would be mirc being able:
- to detect if the server went offline, and retype the trig as soon as its online again;
- to type the trigger
-only once if the server has queued or sent the file at once,
-or for a set period of time if all his queues are full already.

And here I'm considreing only the xdcc server, as fserves seems to be more complicated to handle with folders browsing, and I know other scripts can deal with those.

I doubt that's a good idea. You can just sit beside your keyboard and write that trigger when you feel the need to do so or simply script a very basic remote for that purpose using "On GETFAIL".
