Just the way it is possible to cap the send speed in the set up of a server in mirc, it'd be very useful in several and random situations of priorities, if for each file download we could choose a download speed limit.

Sender can set the speed

A full set of options for throttling download/upload speeds would be nice.

Right now you can only set the default speed for outgoing sends on your fserve..

I'd like to be able to set the default speed for all individual sends, for total send bandwidth, for all individual downloads, and for total download bandwidth.

I don't know if Id like that. Especially if I was on the serving end. If I'm giving a user a file at 40k/b a second and I have to wait around all day because they want to game at the same time and keep the download going 2kb/sec--I wouldn't be too pleased.

that's what minimium dl speeds (for fserve scripts) are for. If they go below a specified amount, their download is cut off. Besides, why would they set it to 2kb/sec? Usuaully someone's incoming bandwidth is much greater than 40kb/sec anyways.. I download things at 150kb/sec and play games online with no problem..
