how do i change it from: /ctcp Fuzion2k8 XDCC List

my xdcc server scrolls, but the message at the bottom shows /ctcp which doesnt work on the server i use, but /msg works, so i need to change the notice somehow.

This is related to whatever script you are running and would be best answered in that script's forum. To change the message/notice, you'd have to edit that line in the script. Of course, you may also have to make the script look for /msg's instead of /ctcp's if it's not already set up to do so.

I think what you asked contradicts what you want. If /msg works and /ctcp doesn't, then there is no point requesting to change from /ctcp to /msg.

But then, not sure what you mean when you say "message at the bottom shows."

I also don't know what you mean when you say "the server scrolls."

It currently responds to /ctcp and he wants it to respond to /msg which is the format the channel uses.

Any feature requests should be directed to the Invision forum. http://www.i-n-v-i-s-i-o-n.com/forum/ . You'll also be able to get the latest version from there if you don't already have it.

You can also get help (to a point) with adjusting things in the script to suit your own needs. I'd recommend going there for further help with that script.

As stated, bring it to the appropriate forum that I gave you.

Of course it can be done. All you need to do is change the words /ctcp to /msg in your script. Then the output will change.

Ctrl F is your friend.
