HELLO i have had irc for over a year no problems i started downloading some files off a friend and the next day i restarted and could not connect to any channel or server i get a message promt unable to connect to server
and asking to go to help screen i can not fix this i have uninstalled it and still can not i set port 6667 and still no avail what can i do to reset everything with mirc even uninstalling it still leaves what port i had last install what did i do for me not to be able to connect please help A.S.A.P I realy like this program but since it is acting like this i cant even connect
Have you tried connecting to another server/network? "Connection Refused" usually means that the server you are connecting to is not accepting connections on that port, maybe because no server exists there anymore.
