I have had an issue lately with mIRC pulling the correct local host (my ip address) It pulls something like ec2-54-164-27-70.compute-1.amazonaws.com (54.164.27.70) which matches the IP the ident request came from every time and I am wondering if that will effect my DCC transferring to someone.Will it and if so how can I fix that? In addition, I thought it may be a mIRC 7.4x issue so I went back to 6.31 (separate directory) and still have the same issue. Now is there a way to lock in my IP address? I appreciate any help I can get, thank you.
