This happen when i do alot of come and go between applications, when mirc flashs i click on it but it dont show up, it stays behing other application, i click again; it minimise into systray then it disapear. Look like it closed but if i check in the process list it's still running in the background.
I've tried to reproduce this bug but it seem to happend mostly when i use imesh. i have to kill the process and reopen mirc.

This has happened to me, and under the same circumstances; but I haven't been able to reproduce it consistently.

this happens when you have the tray options so that the mirc option only appears in the tray when it is minimized.... it tries to open it and then minimize it too quickly (or something) and the request to put it into the tray is lost. if you set the option that makes the icon always appear in the tray, you won't have this problem anymore.

yeh seems to be a problem that has haunted many version, can get rather annoying at times!!

If you have chat links enabled (best to also have "confirm requests" enabled), go to "Start / Run" type irc:[/b]//nothing and mIRC will appear to ask if it should connect...
