wehn mirc is using moo.dll and then tries to find infol on MBM 5 but MBM5 isnt installed, it completely crashes mirc 6.1

i can see why this is important as a bug because mirc 6.1 was made only so it can work with that 1 dll crazy

well if you knew about things before you gave advice, you would know mbm5 is a winblows exe, not a mirc dll

Ok, and why exactly does that make it an mIRC bug?
Posted By: pheonix Re: moo dll mbm5 - 21/09/03 03:56 PM
and if you were clever enough to understand, then you would realise that my mentioning of dll meant moo.dll

mirc should not crash because it cant find somthing

It's not mIRC trying to find something, it's the DLL.

The dll is causing mIRC to crash by giving mIRC corrupt information.

I'm inclined to believe that it's mIRC itself that is causing the crash, not the dll. All the crashes I've observed occur only on 6.1, 6.03 never crashes with these dlls.

In addition, while I cannot speak for all dlls, when I get a crash it always seems to involve NTDLL.DLL. I do not call this from any of the dll's I've written, nor do I even link to it, but the errors still occur.

Any ideas?
