in a dialog edit box, after you make it "multi" shouldnt it then work like an "editable listbox"?, /did -i doesnt seem to work for edit boxes and /did -a adds it to the same line
, please help if anyone knows a way to reproduce
try adding $crlf to the end of the line.
tried, doesnt work.
i forgot to mention its an mdx richedit, but i dont see why that would change anything.
besides the fact that dzap has said that the richedit control is unfinished and/or buggy.
and what does that have to do with /did -i not working?
as said in earlier posts ..... these dlls were written for mirc 6.03 and lower not the new 6.1 so they also may encounter other bugs that u ddint encounter in the previous versions of mirc.
heh, it does work with normal "non richedit" edit boxes ;p
this was tested on 6.03, turns out its a dll bug, not a mirc bug, i found a fix though: when you add text to a richedit it makes it 2 lines instead of 1, so 2 lines is 4 etc(i tried using $did(1).lines in a 1 line edit box, it returned "2")
maybe emailing that info to the author of mxd would help him get something working for the next version of the dll ... if there is one
Well if it's like any of the other MDX controls, line 1 is a "control" line hidden and used for sending/reading information to and from the control.
but line 2 = line 4,3 = line 6...
