It (alt + v) doesnt bring the font dialog now is there any new keycommand/press that can bring up the font dialog.

This is since v is used in the menu (view), i know that much, but i liked the font dialog..

You can just click on font after you alt+v to see the font dialog. I realize its an extra click, but surely not a prob?

it's not a big problem really, i just got really used to alt + v, and misses it. guess i'll have to survive without it now.

not to worry, one click after alt v and you can still see it. changes always take time to adjust to

Alt+V followed by "f", an extra keypress to wear out your fingertips

*click* view,f == two attacks on fingertips
*click*view+*click*font == two attacks on fingertips
