To be sure i understand, you are seeing what you copied elsewhere pasting into a mIRC window?

no say im browseing the web and ill find a site i want to tell peeps about, i copy the address and open mirc, connect and go to send the address to a channel, and instead of the address i get other things, like last time, this was pasted:
Code:
[08/26][16:11:09pm] * Connecting to xxxxxx (6667)
[08/26][16:11:13pm] -xxxxxx- *** Looking up your hostname...
[08/26][16:11:14pm] -xxxxx- *** Checking ident
[08/26][16:11:14pm] -xxxxx- *** Found your hostname

Probably you didn't copy the address properly, so it pastes the thing you had copied before that. That's happened to me before.

I copied an url (and also tried copying text) on IE using ctrl c, then opened mIRC, connected, joined a channel and pasted using ctrl v, no problems. Not sure what to tell you. Try getting a clean copy of mIRC (no scripts), put it in its own directory and see if you can reproduce it.

i know 100% i do not haven any copy features in any loaded scripts, so its not a script issue, but i cant get it happening again wiht scripts loaded
